Froedtert Buys New Radiation Therapy EquipmentFroedtert Hospital became the second hospital in the nation to install Artiste, a radiation therapy that is able to deliver a higher dose of radiation to a smaller area in a faster amount of time. Link to the story from our In the News section.

In the News: "Rising Star" Among Academic Medical CentersThe only academic medical center in eastern Wisconsin, Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin was designated a "rising star" among nearly 100 academic medical centers nationwide. Link to the story from our In the News section.
New: Magnetoencephalography Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin are the first in Wisconsin to use magnetoencephalography (MEG) in the care of adult and pediatric patients with epilepsy or brain tumors. MEG, a non-invasive form of imaging, provides unique real-time information about brain activity that no other method can provide, and offers unprecedented precision in localizing eloquent functional cortex or detecting the source(s) of seizures.
New Endocrinology CenterFroedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin announce the opening in Menomonee Falls of the Endocrinology Center located at the Community Memorial Medical Commons. The major treatment center for diabetes and other endocrine disorders will be staffed by seven new Medical College of Wisconsin physisians: James Findling, MD; Beth Lalande, MD; Steve Magill, MD, PhD; Tiffany Pifel, MD; Brian Rose, MD; Ty Carroll, MD; and Brad Javorsky, MD.
FastCare Opens in New ShopkoFroedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin have teamed up with Shopko to open a FastCare health clinic inside the new Shopko store at Highway 164 and West Silver Spring Drive in Sussex. The clinic will provide easy access to affordable care for many minor health problems such as cold and flu symptoms, sore throats, and ear, sinus and bladder infections.
