Father of Two Finds Hope and Treatment for Stage III Rectal Cancer

Jeff FosheyJeff Foshey of Milwaukee believed he had simply developed a hemorrhoid, so when he was diagnosed with stage III rectal cancer in late 2008, his mild concern turned quickly to despair. Within 24 hours, however, those thoughts gave way to hope as his medical team at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center reassured the 39-year-old father of two that survival and a return to coaching his sons’ baseball teams were within reach. Under the direction of a highly specialized, well-coordinated team of Medical College physicians, Jeff received the most advanced, innovative treatment available.
