Performance Enhancement Program

Reaching Optimal Athletic Performance

In the News
Speed skating is a thrilling sport for both spectators and participants. However, with participation comes the risk of injuries ranging from muscle imbalances to those resulting from falls. The Performance Enhancement Program is designed to meet the needs of athletes such as speed skaters. Read about it in the article "Built for Speed" from advanceweb.com.

Athletes of all ages, abilities and sports rely on the Performance Enhancement Program (PEP) to improve their skills. PEP, part of the Sports Medicine Center at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, helps athletes of all levels (age 10 and up) to improve their athletic skills, learn techniques for preventing injury and, ultimately, reach their optimal athletic performance.

The most comprehensive program of its kind, PEP starts with a thorough fitness evaluation that leads to a customized plan aimed at achieving your objectives. Whether you want to reduce your time in a marathon, improve your golf swing, enhance your ball throwing or improve your exercise capability, our certified athletic trainers can work with you. PEP uses proven training techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to help you maximize your athletic potential. The PEP also offers customized programs for busy executives in the Milwaukee area through its Executive Fitness Program.

Injury prevention is an important part of the athlete’s life. All programs are conducted by certified athletic trainers experienced in injury prevention.

Our reasonably priced programs are offered in a wide range of sports for individuals and teams. To ensure you get the most out of your program, each is customized to the sport and skill area you want to enhance. You choose the services and schedule that meet your needs.
