Volunteers Donate Earnings
Milwaukee, WI (July 22, 2009) – The Froedtert Hospital Volunteer Associates donated their 2008 earnings of $101,518 to benefit Froedtert Hospital programs.
The money was raised through sales at hospital gift shop and other volunteer fundraising events. All proceeds go back to the hospital to benefit programs including nursing, medical research, and hospitality. Froedtert volunteers have donated more than $1.9 million over the last 29 years. Many of the volunteers are former patients or family members of former patients.
