City of Milwaukee Employees Take Part in Wellness Program

(June 2011) — Nearly 90 percent of eligible City of Milwaukee employees have signed up for the "Wellness Your Choice Milwaukee" program offered by Froedtert Health's Workforce Health group. City of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says the program has positive health and economic benefits: the preventive care public employees need can save health care money for the city and taxpayers.

Froedtert Hospital Earns National Recognition for Nursing Excellence

(June 2011) — Froedtert Hospital has again attained Magnet® designation as part of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® recognizing excellence in nursing. Only about 6 percent of the nation’s roughly 6,000 hospitals have achieved Magnet recognition status. This credential is the highest national honor an organization can receive for nursing excellence.

Defying Gravity

Van Driel took up running after a horrific bicycle accident left her with a concussion, numerous fractures to her spine, broken ribs, fractured ankles, cuts and bruises. Hamstring Tendon May Help Reduce Pain in ACL Surgery
