Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin have begun to use an electronic medical record system called Epic that gives your physicians instant access to your medical history whether you are in the doctor’s office, at the pharmacy, lab or hospital.
The Epic medical record also makes it possible for your physician to get lab or X-ray results more quickly. And, it’s easier to avoid scheduling conflicts when the hospital or a clinic is setting up your appointments. Beyond convenience, Epic creates a comprehensive view of your health care, contributing to safety, efficiency and ultimately, better patient care.
