Helping Couples Achieve the Dream of a Family

When it comes to successful infertility treatment, the right kind of patient-physician relationship can transform a potentially stressful and traumatic experience into a rewarding one.

“Our goal is to help couples achieve a family through the most reasonable means possible,” said Estil Strawn Jr., MD.

Dr. Strawn, medical director of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Reproductive Medicine Clinic, is part of a team of sub-specialty, fellowship-trained physicians committed to infertility treatment at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. He and colleagues Jay Sandlow, MD, Medical College of Wisconsin urologist and Paul Robb, MD, Medical College of Wisconsin obstetrician/gynecologist have the training and experience necessary to pinpoint the source of infertility and provide unparalleled results.

“We offer a full range of infertility treatment,” Dr. Robb said. “Because we provide care for female and male factor infertility, our patients benefit from a seamless continuum of comprehensive care. What’s more, we meet as a multidisciplinary group to discuss the best way to approach each couple’s situation. Our patients don’t just get the opinion of one doctor — they get the care of three experts.”

Dr. Strawn emphasizes the importance of involving couples in the decision-making process. “Because we take the time to get to know our patients, we are able to provide care tailored to each couple’s unique situation.”

“We are committed to a hands-on approach,” Dr. Sandlow added. “We sit down with both partners and come up with the treatment plan best tailored for them as a couple. “Going the extra step for patients is something we believe in doing. Our patients are happy to know we’ll personally call or e-mail them with answers to their questions.”
